This series, Art Is Political, began with "People Lived Here" in the early 2000s. It has since evolved into an exploration of conflicts and injustices spanning multiple regions and realities—from the wars in the Middle East, Ukraine, Congo, and Palestine, to the recent turmoil inflicted by an occupational force on our own homeland by I.C.E. This body of work serves as a call to bear witness and to refuse the comfort of silence in the face of systemic violence and oppression. Through this series, I invite reflection on the profound impact of war and occupation, and the urgent need for awareness, empathy, organizing, and action. Art is not just human expression—it is resistance, remembrance, and a demand for justice.

“This series, created last year, explores themes of sustainability and the transformative power of art. Using a variety of repurposed and recycled materials on canvas, I aimed to show that beauty can be found in anything. We have only one Earth, and everything that comes from her deserves respect—not to be wasted or discarded as is common in today’s fast-paced, high-consumer fashion world. My work is a personal reflection on this reality, inviting viewers to reconsider their relationship with materials, consumption, and the environment.”

The 'Little Wanderers' series, begun in 2013, is a heartfelt expedition through the realm of childhood. This series encapsulates the enchantment, creativity, joy, bewilderment, and the gradual fading and changing of dreams that are integral to this profound journey of life. Each painting beautifully captures these facets through the forever wandering little girl, offering a deep dive into the varied experiences of growing up.
